It comes complete with:
- Rescue SAM Semi-Automatic Defibrillator
- One pair of adult shock pads
- Long-life disposable battery
- User's manual
SIMPLE, EASY TO USE
The Rescue SAM defibrillator has been designed to be extremely simple to use so that any member of the public can use the device without any prior CPR or first aid experience. When operating the defibrillator, users are guided through each step of resuscitation with lit-up visual instructions on the main interface together with loud and clear voice prompts. Its on-board ECG scans the rhythm of a patient’s heart beat before determining whether to deliver a shock or prompt the user to perform CPR.
The main interface features a status light that flashes green, amber or red intermittently as a quick visual way of routinely checking the defibrillator.
THE PERFECT PUBLIC DEFIBRILLATOR
The Rescue SAM is perfect for installation in any public place indoors or out. If installing a defibrillator in a public place, it is always recommended that you install a heated cabinet. Please call 0845 862 9500 for more details. The Rescue SAM is IP54 rated meaning it is protected from dust ingress and water spray from any direction. Why not consider the optional carry case to give the unit further protection.
*LONG BATTERY LIFE AND 8 YEAR WARRANTY
The defibrillator main unit is covered with an 8-year warranty as standard. The lithium-ion disposable battery, once inserted into the machine has an operational life of 4 years unless used. The battery can provide up to 200 shocks or 4 hours of continuous use. The battery has a 4-year limited warranty. Shock pads have a warranty up to their expiration date. All other accessories are covered for 1 year.
YOU MAY WISH TO CONSIDER THESE ACCESSORIES
Although the Rescue SAM can remain in its packaging until needed, the carry case does come highly recommended. It's ideal for "grab and go" situations where the bag provides storage for the pads, keeping every thing together in one unit. The bag also offers extra protection to the unit and is required if you plan to install the defibrillator using the wall mount.
Children (Paediatric) shock pads are available as an optional extra and are highly recommended if you plan to install a defibrillator in a public place; or a place that is frequently visited by children under the age of 8. IE a nursery/preschool.
Ideal for placing the defibrillator indoors in position for easy access. The bracket sits flush against the wall and is barely visible once the Rescue SAM is mounted. The Rescue SAM will need the carry case accessory if you plan to use this wall mount.
WHY NOT CONSIDER DEFIBRILLATOR & BASIC CPR TRAINING?
Train up to 12 people, at the same, at your premises, at a time that suits you. The course lasts 3 to 4 hours and teaches how to use a defibrillator as well as basic CPR. Training must take place in premises that are based on UK mainland. Add training to the package above and we will contact you to arrange a suitable date and time.
